洞见第三季第二期——王锋艺《海南寻根之旅》

近日，在海南国际传播中心《洞见・Insight》第三季的演讲现场，来自马来西亚的第四代琼籍华裔王锋艺博士（Zyro Wong），以“回家的孩子”身份，讲述了一段跨越世纪的寻根之旅。一个世纪前，他的曾祖父离开海南远赴马来西亚；如今，他带着85岁的奶奶重归故土，在文昌与失散多年的亲人团聚。在骑楼老街触摸历史，在黎族染坊感受文化传承，在老爸茶馆品味乡情。作为The Knights Award国际颁奖平台主席，他不仅分享了个人与海南的深厚联结，更以亲历者视角，展现自贸港建设中传统与现代的交融、开放与机遇的碰撞，诠释着“跨越山海”的双向奔赴。本期视频，让我们一同聆听他与故乡海南的动人故事。

Recently, at Insight (Season III), hosted by the Hainan International Media Center, Dr. Zyro Wong, President of The Knights Award and a fourth-generation Chinese of Hainanese descent from Malaysia, took the stage to deliver a heartfelt talk titled "Journey Back to My Hainanese Roots". A century after his great-grandfather left Hainan for Malaysia, Zyro returns to Wenchang with his 85-year-old grandmother to reconnect with lost relatives and rediscover the culture that shaped their roots. From exploring the historic arcades of Qilou Old Street to experiencing the traditional dyeing techniques of the Li ethnic group and enjoying tea in nostalgic old-style teahouses, his journey was a powerful act of both rediscovery and reconnection. Dr. Wong not only shared his deep personal connection with Hainan but also, drawing from his own direct experience, presented a vivid picture of the island's transformation. He experienced firsthand the blending of tradition and modernity, as well as the convergence of openness and opportunity, in the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
