During the first month of special customs operations, Haikou Customs oversaw 750 million yuan worth of duty-free goods on the "first line" and nearly 85.9 million yuan worth of processed goods with added value exempt from duties sold to the Chinese mainland on the "second line." Benefiting from the positive effects of the Hainan FTP's special customs operations and its openness, an increasing number of foreign trade enterprises are choosing to set up operations in Hainan.
