Hainan to Expedite Building Shipping & Aviation Hubs

 In 2026, Hainan will accelerate the development of "Two Hubs", which refer to the Shipping Hub of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, and the Aviation Hub facing the Pacific and the Indian Ocean, so as to deepen the FTP’s institutional opening-up through transportation openness.

 Over 80 container liner routes have been launched across the province, with a container throughput of 5.3 million TEUs, representing a year-on-year increase of 17%. The turnover volume of waterway cargo reached 1.5243 trillion ton-kilometers, marking an increase of 6% year-on-year.
