Guided by China's "dual carbon" goals, the Hainan Free Trade Port is vigorously developing clean energy, such as offshore wind power, and building a 100-billion-yuan offshore wind equipment manufacturing cluster. A wind turbine blade with a length of 143 meters and a rotor diameter of 292 meters was successfully rolled off the production line in Dongfang City, Hainan Province, setting a new global record. In this special episode of the micro-documentary series "Incredible Hainan·Frontier of an Open China," reporter Yang Shidou (Ms. Bean), visits the intelligent manufacturing base of Mingyang Smart Energy in Dongfang to uncover the story behind the birth of this "giant offshore blade" and witness how Hainan is writing a new chapter in clean energy development through green smart manufacturing.
