Deep Blue Marvels Special Exhibition Named Excellence Project of 23rd (2025) National Top Ten Museum Exhibitions

The results of the 23rd (2025) National Promotion Campaign for China’s Top Ten Boutique Museum Exhibitions were unveiled on May 18. “Deep Blue Marvels: Special Exhibition of Archaeological Discoveries from the No. 1 and No. 2 Shipwrecks on the Northwest Continental Slope of the South China Sea,” hosted by the China (Hainan) Museum of the South China Sea, was named an Excellence Project. The exhibition systematically displays 442 precious cultural relics, including Ming Dynasty fahua-glazed porcelain discovered for the first time in a Chinese shipwreck.
