2026 Hong Kong Media Talents Exchange & Interview Event touches down at Wenchang Aerospace Supercomputing Center

Media talents from Hong Kong went deep inside the Wenchang Aerospace Supercomputing Center in Wenchang City, Hainan Province, getting a firsthand look at the energy and innovation fueling the city's booming space industry.

The Wenchang Aerospace Supercomputing Center was completed and opened in August 2023. It has built infrastructure covering satellites, supercomputing, and data centers, achieving a full industrial chain for space data from collection and storage to processing and trading.

In terms of cross-border data flow, the center has enabled access to the Hong Kong-Hainan international communications submarine cable, with data exported to more than 20 countries.
