ASEAN Parliamentarians Visit World’s Largest Single-Building Duty-Free Mall: Experiencing Hainan’s “Shopping Paradise”

On the afternoon of August 24, the ASEAN Parliamentarians delegation visited the cdf Haikou International Duty-Free City. As the world’s largest and most diversified single-building duty-free mall, it is located in the western sub-center of Haikou, adjacent to the Xinhai Port transportation hub. With a total construction area of 930,000 square meters and a single-building duty-free area of 280,000 square meters, it brings together over 800 international and domestic brands, serving as a key window for channeling consumption back to China since the Hainan Free Trade Port’s full customs operations began.

The parliamentarians toured the mall and learned about Hainan’s offshore duty-free shopping policies, experiencing firsthand the vibrant duty-free consumption driven by the Hainan Free Trade Port since its full customs operations.
