Impulse Launches Smart Fitness Equipment Base Project in Haikou

On Aug. 24, a project to build the Impulse Smart Fitness and Wellness Equipment R&D and Manufacturing Base was launched in Haikou National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. The base is the first phase of a broader industrial park project with a planned total investment of about 658.5 million yuan. Investment in the first phase is estimated at approximately 298.6 million yuan. It will develop and manufacture smart equipment for commercial and home fitness, physical conditioning, rehabilitation and wellness.
At the ceremony, Impulse signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Indonesian Olympic Committee, Realcan Pharmaceutical Group, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Key Laboratory of Sports and Health Promotion of Hainan Province and other partners to build a global health technology ecosystem. Impulse and Guanghua Chuangxin Intelligent Technology also jointly inaugurated an AI Health Technology Innovation Center and launched a new AI-powered fitness and health ring.
The project highlights the growing role of the Hainan Free Trade Port in linking China’s manufacturing capabilities with global resources and international markets.
