Hainan’s Jing Shijun finishes as leading Chinese player at Hainan Open

Jing Shijun, who represents Hainan, finished as the leading Chinese player at the 2026 Hainan Open, which concluded on October 11. His four-round total of 277, 11 under par, earned him a share of 20th place and the award for the tournament’s top Chinese player. After opening with two rounds of 71, Jing improved with a 67 and a 68 over the weekend. He said he felt nervous during the first two rounds but became more relaxed and converted more birdie chances over the final two.
