Joint Announcements Strictly Regulate Illegal Tide-pooling in Hainan's Key Coastal Ecological Zones

In recent days, Hainan's coastal cities and counties, including Sanya, Haikou, Wenchang, Lingshui, Dongfang, Danzhou, Changjiang, Lingao, and Qionghai, have successively issued public announcements prohibiting illegal commercial activities such as unauthorized tide-pooling, illicit fishing, and unlawful entry into natural protected areas of mangroves, wetlands, coral reefs, and seagrass beds. The governing requirements targeting commercial tide-pooling and online promotion were also introduced in some designated areas.
