De Beers Group, the world-leading diamond and jewelry company,has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Hainan, setting up diamond processing and supply chain service centers while fully benefiting from the exclusive trade preferential policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port. Under these policies, imported materials and components used in goods with an added value exceeding 30% and intended for domestic sale are exempt from import duties. Rough diamonds and processing equipment are also fully tariff-free, significantly lowering production and distribution costs.Drawing on Chinese mainland’s vast jewelry market, De Beers has built a cross-border value chain integrating processing, warehousing, and sales.
