Hainan’s Three Airports Handle 8.7 Million Passengers; Inbound-Outbound Travel Continues to Surge

The 62-day 2026 summer travel rush concluded on August 31. During the period, Hainan Airport Group under Hainan Holdings recorded 57,000 aircraft movements across its three island airports, serving 8.7 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%. International passenger flow continued to rise, with over 3,100 flights carrying a total of 460,000 inbound and outbound passengers.
