Following two excavation campaigns in 2025 and 2026, a Sino-Egyptian joint archaeological team formed by the Shanghai Museum and Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities has unearthed a wealth of important relics and artifacts at the site of the Temple of Sekhmet. The findings provide new material evidence for understanding the region's historical landscape and human activities across different eras.
